Sarah's Maternity Pictures

This is a wonderul couple!! I had the chance to take Sarah's maternity pictures a couple weeks ago. I had a blast taking their pictures, and they were so fun to work with! We were even able to get a great picutre with their sweet dog Elsie.

Wall Makeover #3

Here is a recap of what I have added to the wall this far. First, I revamped a picture frame that I already had by adding an accent piece of fabric to the center.

Next I found a cool piece of wall art that I loved but wasn't willing to fork over the dough. I made my own.

Since I am redecorating on a very low budget I have tried to use items that I already have.

These next two were items already on the wall. The first one I used the wreath pictured below and spray painted it an off white color. The second one was also on the wall already I repainted it green. It is a framed copy of The family a proclamation to the world.

This last piece of art I have had for a while on another wall. I felt like the green matched. I am still unsure if this will make the final cut or not. For now it will stay.

There is one last item that I am finishing up that will make this project complete, stay tuned.

Exciting New Author

I am so excited to intoduce a new author on Applebucket. Kylee

Kylee is an artistic mother of two supporting her husband through law school. She has many skills and talents including photography, painting, sewing, paper crafts, home décor and anything else you throw at her. Etching

I tried a new product called, Armour Etch.

I love it.

This was the first time I have etched glass. I was a little unsure if it would work on pyrex but it turned out great.

I first started with some crack' n peel paper that I had on hand. I used my exacto knife to cut out my design

I decided to etched the bottom of a pyrex baking dish

I then peeled the back off the paper and stuck it into place on my dish

Applied the etching cream

Wait 5 minutes and then wash the etching cream off with water, be careful not to touch the cream.

Peel the paper off all done

( I put a piece of red paper behind the dish so that the etched part would stand out more)

Stamp Club

This month we made some really fun cards. I love the new techniques that I learn each month. Joy with Our Craft Lounge is so awesome and is such a good instructor.

This one is pretty cool it is a faux leather wallet gift card holder.

This card was my favorite this month. We used alcohol inks, which I have never used before, love them.

Portable High Chair

 This is a great idea that I found over at Homemadebyjill.  I have a bunch of friends that are having baby's and these make perfect shower gifts!

I added a personalized, embroidered tag.
